However, you need to be sure about the requirements after which you can install Magento 2 on your windows. Here is a guide for you to install Magento 2 if you want to start with the usage.

There are some basic and easy steps that you can follow for the installation of Magento 2 –

Step 1: Download the latest version of Magento, i.e., Magento 2.3.2 from the link mentioned here –https://magento.com/tech-resources/download.

Step 2: Here, you need to select the Zip format and click on the download button.

It isn’t necessary that the format type will be zip. It can also be tar.gz, tar.bz2 or other; you need to select the one that fits your requirement.

Step 3: As you start to download, it will ask you to login. If you are not an existing user, you can also create a new account. 

Step 4: A form will be displayed where you need to fill the necessary details.

It is important for the user who is creating a new account.

Step 5: The downloading begins after you have successfully created an account, you need to login to the Magento Community.

Step 6: Right after completing the above steps, you need to extract the earlier downloaded Magento 2.3.2 zip file into the Magento 2 folder which you have created.

Step 7: When Magento is successfully downloaded on your system, you can create a new folder inside the htdocs by the name Magento 2.

Step 8: As you complete the extraction from the folder, you can run the Apahe amd MySQL in the XAMPP server.
